I feel like I should go to a outpatient hospital for mental health, because I've had a lot going on and I feel like I need it, but I'm not suicidal, just depressed, anxious, etc.

I've had this suggested to me before but haven't been able to do it because of personal circumstances. If I could I would do it though. Regular counselors have told me that they aren't equipped to handle my issues, but I'm the same as you (I'm also not suicidal, just struggling a lot with severe anxiety and depression). The hospital should be able to give you the help you need, and outpatient sounds more comfortable than inpatient in my opinion. If you feel like it's best for you, then do it. I'm sending lots of luck and positive thoughts your way.

I'd recommend talking to a therapist and seeing if that helps, or they may recommend you go to an outpatient hospital as well which I feel would be comforting to have that support if needed
