My biggest insecurity is not being recognized for the woman I am. Up until this point, I have not had a problem with any of my problems really. I have been trying to take care of myself but lately, it seems like everything is a big issue, which is making my depression worse. I have PCOS and one of my symptoms is the unwanted hair. no matter what I do to remove it, I can guarantee a few hours later you can already see it growing back. At work recently, some lady asked if I was a man, and I politely said 'no' and she was shocked that I said no and she said 'certainly you must be tricking me, you're a man!' and I had to go on break and cry in my car. every once in a while I'm used to it, but things like this are happening more and more frequently. I went to a job interview and the interviewer said "It's not my business but I would like to know if you're transitioning" and I said "you're right it's not any of your business, but no I'm not. I was born female and still am female" and explained to the interviewer what's 'wrong' with me. and I told them I would not be accepting any position they offered me because of the just awkward forwardness they expressed with their question. Things like this are causing me to fall deeper and deeper into depression. this is the worst it's been in a very long time. My boyfriend of 7 years broke up with me because it seems like it's impossible to get pregnant. He said he would find someone that could bear his children and he would love her more than he ever loved me and that hurt. idk. I'm just big sad at this point and I feel like this isn't who I'm supposed to be.

I’m so so sorry for your experiences. People are treating you very poorly and you deserve better. However, I must ask, are you on any medication? Like all the metformin, spironolactone, birth control, etc? It sounds like your hormones need to be balanced more.
