I've recently been looking into Manic Depression just to get a bunch of results for Bipolar. Is this what it is now? I feel like I am not getting what I need out of my meds and wonder if I'm treating depression or BD

      Manic depression is an older term used for bipolar disorder but they are the same thing. You may want to talk to your med provider about your current meds and making changes.

      That is a very old diagnosis and I am procrastinating on going to my Dr because I don't want to go through med changes but I do want to get better

        @LexaOfWhiterun it's rough but that's what we have to do to find what really works. Let your doc know your concerns and go from there. There are lots of options out there including some great new meds.

      It is one step closer yes but it can also be a major part of being bipolar
