Feeling down on my 21st birthday

I turn 21 this Saturday and to me it doesn't feel like my birthday. I can't excited about going out or making plans. My birthday always felt like just another day, and I can't bring myself to plan a celebration. Even though it's a milestone, I can't get into the partying mood.

      You ONLY get 1 birthday a year,please do something even if its small..I host small sip and paints...Paintings on amazon are just 9.99 a pcs..Get a few ppl you love and thats a party..I tell myself sooo many people have lost their life due to covid and violence.WE ARE HERE,we dont have to go all out just do something small,BUT DO IT..

      I turned 21 last summer and was not feeling well, but all I did was make a pitcher of something and had 2 or three friends over. It felt like a celebration without any effort and lessened anxiety, as well as better for my chronic pain! Good luck, and happy birthday!

      is there a friend or someone close that you can ask for help planning? even if you’re not in the mood, sometimes getting someone else involved can help, and when everyone who comes is pumped up and excited it might get you in the mood!

        @angrysloth I'm not super close to other 21 year olds. Most of my friends are still 19 or 20

          @celizzie have a small party with close friends at home. Just because you're legally able yo drink doesn't mean you have to. Do what you'd like
