I have a very poor diet, I don't eat a lot of "junk" food but it is far from balanced. I think my diet is really taking a toll on my concentration, metabolism, and giving me so much fatigue. I'm vegetarian but I don't know anything about nutrition and I don't know where to start. It's like I just mentally shut down when I think about all the ingredients to buy and cooking to do (I just microwave stuff right now) I know I need to just take it one step at a time and start with doing some research but I thought I'd see if anyone has had a similar experience and maybe what has helped them. Does anyone have any tips or thoughts?

      As someone with a specific diet (pescetarian) myself I relate to how hard it is to shop and cook for good meals. I have a lot of issues with textures so a lot of healthy meals I'd see on places like Pinterest were a no go which made me default to the same meals. Something that helped me was meal kits as a starting point as they provide the ingredients and recipe so I can try a new food and have the recipe if I want to prepare it again later.

      I recommend looking into smoothies and multivitamins. You can add just about anything to a smoothie to get nutrients but if you're not ready for all that, a simple men's or women's multivitamin can go a long way.
