If you’ve had fibro long enough you know that not enough is know about what causes it. We simply don’t know enough about it. The man I’ve been.. being intimate for a year with, suddenly developed it as well. He said that if not enough is known about it who’s to say that it didn’t “come from me.” The Internet says it’s not contagious and so does my logic.. can someone tell me this couldn’t be my fault for my own sanity?

It's not contagious. Can happen from a past traumatic event. It's a chemical imbalance in the brain. So no you couldn't give it to someone.

If he had asymptomatic, mild, or moderate COVID, he likely got it from that. 35% of people with long COVID meet the diagnostic criteria for fibromyalgia

It's an issue of the brain/nervous system. It's not like a virus that can be caught. This seems laughable to me. Sending virtual hugs. Hopefully you don't have to put up with too many toxic comments like that.

It’s true that we don’t know enough about fibromyalgia, but we know enough to say it isn’t an infectious disease. You can’t “catch” it from someone else, you are correct. You have nothing to worry about, please don’t feel guilt for something that’s not true.

It is absolutely not your fault. Fibromyalgia is not something you can pass to your partner!
