hi there i have had chronic migraine for almost six years now. recently attacks have been getting more frequent and my medications have not been working well rizatriptan and immitrex. i am wondering what to ask my neurologist for. i think i could benefit from a preventative treatment along with my as needed medication and probably a change in that. i know a lot of people love their monthly shots. i am however terrified of needles (for some reason not with IV’s just shots) and have a history of passing out with shots. it would be my girlfriend giving them to me though. any advice?

I don’t have much advice because I’m going through something similar and also terrified of needles (except IVs lol 😂) so I hope someone else out there has some suggestions!
