I’m just lost and it feels like I can barely remember most days and I do things I don’t remember (I always have but it feels worse lately). I really want and need therapy but I’m not sure what type would help me best or what meds could help regulate me? If anyone has any advice I would really appreciate it!

When it comes to DID, there's unfortunately no medication available, unless there's some comorbid condition alongside the DID. Therapy is the primary treatment for DID, and unfortunately DID specialists are rare and hard to find. I'd recommend looking for someone who specializes in trauma, and ideally dissociation.
I got a virtual psychiatrist for getting help with ADHD medicine. I picked her specifically because her profile made it clear she was open minded and willing to be a patient advocate. I talked to her a little about everything else I have going on and she is helping me find a local place that is experienced and has good reviews that will be helpful.
