Hey guys. So me and my boyfriend are going to separate colleges this year. I’m so worried. I’m not worried that he’ll cheat on me, Im just worried he may lose feelings or find someone else. I really need advice and let me know if you’ve experienced feeling worried about this too with your boyfriend/girlfriend. any advice is appreciated

I have not been in your side of the situation before, where I was afraid of being replaced by someone else, but I kinda have been in your b/f's shoes, where I had to deal with convincing myself then-g/f that I would not lose feelings for her or find someone else, as long as we can still continue to support and encourage, and most importantly love each other enough to trust each other during the times we would apart, and hopefully be able to make the most of any school breaks or other times that we could get to spend quality time together. Maybe if you are able to do something similar with your b/f, it might help make the experience a little more bearable for the both of you. Just don't lose sight of what you and him love about each other, and value about each other in your relationship.

That's normal! I felt that way with my current husband. He went to Japan for 2 years and I stayed in America but we pulled through. It was difficult, but if the love is there, it'll stay there
