Diagnosed with ADHD and Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (and many co-morbidities) within 6 months of each other in my early 40’s… now what?!??

      I was diagnosed with EDS at 40 also, btw, and with ADHD in my teens. Hang in there!

      Check out the book Disjointed, it's all about hEDS (if that's the kind you have). There's a lot on autonomic dysfunction (abnormal stress response) and how it mimicks ADHD and mood disorders.

        @Alice27 they are assuming hEDS

      I was diagnosed with ADHD as a kid but my ehlers-danlos diagnosis didn't come until my early forties as well. It's so weird that they're comorbidities! Nothing's will start to make sense and you'll understand and forgive yourself a little more. Hopefully since you're over the hill like me you will also hold people accountable for being jerks about it.

        @Sunshine79 I’m most sad I didn’t know before my mom died because she definitely had it and I wish she would have had better quality of life.

      I'm in my 30's and just found out as well! 😅 It's really affirming in a way, because I finally have an answer, but it's a lot to take in... It seems like it's all about being aware of EDS as the root cause for certain health issues, and just managing what you've got. 💝

        @InconclusiveResults I totally get it being affirming. Definitely signs throughout my life that were essentially ignored…
