Cymbalta, flexeril and b100 complex worked wonders for me. I’ve been pregnant and it breastfeeding since 2016 so I haven’t taken cymbalta or flexeril Since but daily b100 and PT helps a lot.

Have you tried Voltarin cream, or a 10's unit?

My Dr has me on savella and gabapentin. Helps a lil but I have other health issues.

Tens, Voltarin, Flexeril, does not help with Fibromyalgia symptoms, only some muscle pain. I need something that calms my nerve endings down so that I don’t feel like I want to jump out of my skin!

Probiotics. My doctor told me last year that I should start a probiotic a really good one to see if that helps manage some of the symptoms. I had forgotten about that recommendation until this year reviewing my chart notes. Here is a quick article https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/29695180/

I do probiotics all the time because I had 3 bouts of C-def! Had lg. Colon resection twice. No joke w/ CDef: lethal!! Had back surgery T thru L. Carpal Tunal, Thymic Cyst removed ( open heart). It’s been a heck of a ride! 68 and feel like I’ve had nine lives!

For me, my FM pain was mainly heat in my thighs and knees; for that, I found that a THC/CBD cream lessened symptoms enough to fall asleep. I just re-applied if I woke up with the same issues. I imagine any types of cooling cream would be helpful for that specific problem.

Gabapentin is what I take. 2 400mg in the morning and two at bedtime. Lyrics has never done a thing for my fm symptoms.

the really tough thing about fibromyalgia is that it is hard to advise. What works for one won't for another so sharing tips and tricks isn't as easy for one as it is for other diseases and disorders. I supplement my gabapentin with cyclobinzaprine. It is called flexril by brand name. It is taken prn every 8 hours for those days when the fm just wants to do its own thing. It's a muscle relaxant. You may try something in that family.

I too use Voltaren or lidocaine creams. I have to be careful with the lidocaine ones though because some brands come with menthol in them and I'm allergic to menthol.

    I've been using Bio Freeze.
