Has anyone heard of steroid shots that are placed in the tarsal tunnel areas in the legs that are supposed to help with the pain from tarsal tunnel syndrome? Do you know if the shots can have a negative effect on the peripheral neuropathy?

I never heard of that. I did have the injections last summer for my Peripheral Poly Nueropathy. Unfortunately it only took the pain away for 2 days
