Just kind of looking for some help! I experience a lot of pot symptoms- I haven’t got an official diagnosis yet… sometimes when get up to stand my heart rate is “normal” others it’s not.. and especially in the heat. Is that also possible for pots to not have it every single time?

I don't have it every single time. In fact I have it worse after eating and at certain times of day like early morning and late evenings but I also get it when I've really been pushing myself Beyond what my extreme fatigue will allow. So that doesn't mean you're not pots. There's also adrenergic pots which I think I have but I also have MCAS and the palpitations and tachycardia can be due to eating certain foods this is the biggest Revelation I found so far.

yes it's very possible for pots to not be significant every single time you stand. the times where it is significant are called "pots episodes" it definitely is common for it to be spread-out. my resting is 70bpm, when i have an episode i go up to 120-180 and when i don't i go to about 80-100 :D & yes a common symptom of pots is heat intolerance, it makes sense to have worse symptoms in the heat :) but then again i'd wait for a diagnosis before like spending a lot of money on stuff for these symptoms, but there's things like increasing your water & salt intake that you can try! if it turns out to be pots, let me know i have a lot of strategies :)

Hi! You should definitely get your minerals, electrolytes, iron, and basic blood panels checked to rule out any imbalances or deficiencies. A Functional Doctor is better for this in my opinion. If you truly do have POTS, those times that you aren't very symptomatic could be that you are adequately hydrated and good on salt. There are so many things that could be playing into your symptoms. If you haven't already, start getting things ruled out so you can get to the bottom of why you are experiencing POTS like symptoms. I am in the same boat as you. I don't have an official diagnosis, but I have all the symptoms. It's frustrating. I hope this helps, good luck!! ❤️

@Healforhealth yes that defiantly does help I appreciate it 🥰 it’s so hard because I’m worried when I get my testing I’m going to have a “good” day! I hope you get some answers!!
