Am I on too many antidepressants, are they even working or canceling each other out?

You know, as soon as I saw this question, the first thing that came to my mind…if you are asking yourself this question, maybe something inside of you is already telling yourself that something isn’t right. The only experience I have here is this: when I became pregnant thirteen years, I developed really bad GERD, that has never gone away. Within a relatively short time, I was on the highest dose of three different medications to treat the condition. It wasn’t until about a year ago, I saw a doctor that saw me and couldn’t believe I was on such a crazy amount of medication. While my condition was under control about 90% of the time, the long term damage the medications caused was irreversible and could have been controlled with much less medication. The moral of my story, while it is possible that these medications are right for you, it never hurts to get a second opinion if it doesn’t feel right. (This is especially true with antidepressants, I have been on cymbalta for many years to treat pain and the long term side effects for me haven’t been great) Take care and good luck!
