Hi all! So I often experience physical symptoms of anxiety. Like right now, I don’t feel emotionally anxious but my body is itching all over. Any tips for how to calm the itching? I’m trying to breathe through it but it’s not enough.

Maybe try taking a short walk if you're able. Sometimes that helps convince the brain to cool it with the more physical side of anxiety since you're getting the energy out

Lotion in a shower. B really careful it's slippery. Water is calming. Warm not hot. And rub the lotion in as much as needed. Calmed me through the itch of opioid withdrawal. If your really freaking, run super cold water over your hands and wrists, fast running, as chilly as you can stand.🤗

Maybe try a heating pad and some mindfulness techniques? I get it too and it's awful

You could always try a benadryl or cetirizine if you don't already take an allergy medicine on the days the itching is worse!
