How can I get back control of my emotions? I’m crying everyday and I’m in so much pain and I just have no motivation. I’m in the worst low I’ve experienced before.

Crisis Text Line has helped me when things get really low.

hugs. dialectical behavior therapy has helped me very much, in addition to proper medications to balance out my highs and lows
I take a lot of lithium and my levels have gone too high then too low…and at one point I was hallucinating. It’s not a drug to be take lightly but it keeps me alive.
I am so chronically ill that I can have a hard time making my own happiness so I’ve been prescribed a low dose of lithium to help me from crying so much. My doctor also keeps a check on the lithium levels in my body when I go in for check ups as it isn’t a drug to be taken lightly. Love and light to you on you journey.
A huge thing that has helped me is to realize that my emotions are NOT me. I am my own person. It sounds stupid simple but it is one thing that’s stuck with me.
Yes I am medicated and I’m in therapy
