What are your favorite autism (or any disability really) school essentials, anything from your favorite accommodations in your iep/504 to things you keep in your bag to help

My must have is a bunch of different fidgets. I prefer some that produce visual sensory input, some that provide tactile, something I can chew on (usually my chewy necklace), and some gum or hard candies to keep me focused.

Diagnosed in my 30s, but whether i knew why or not i always carried my treasures around like a ferret. My backpack essentials were socks and backup socks, sunglasses and backup sunglasses, chapstick, deoderant, shout, water bottle and backup water, bobby pins, elastics and clips, rocks, 2 of whatever my safe snack was at any given time and safe drink.. then it would get a mess and i would just get more instead of finding what was missing in the abyss at tge bottom of the bag about 5x before finally dumping the oil pastel covered debris in the trash, most now unidentifiable and smelling like chapstick.

also my favorite accommodation is the ability to take short breaks from class. I can use them to go study in the library, go take a walk, or just hang out in the hallway for a few minutes
