I get silent migraines and migraines with auras. The intense auras are usually only 1-2 times a year. I tend to get flashes of light in my vision a LOT! I keep reading these articles about how it 2x your stroke risk. I am also on birth control pills that I am planning on getting off soon. Until recent research I never knew about these risks. Now I’m freaking out hard core. I had a MRI about 7 years ago that showed nothing unusual. Now I’m freaking out. Should I see a neurologist again? 😭 I don’t want a stroke.

I might visit a neurologist in the near future if they get worse. Been to one years ago, but it might be time to go back.

I actually had/have migraines that are called “Complex Migraines” they appear as strokes. Truly so scary!! There is nothing wrong with consulting with a specialist to see what your best options are!!
