Anyone have suggestions for getting into running despite Endo? I am feeling my annual “feeling-like-spring” motivation to start running again, but I am weary. Last year I hit that point, did a couple runs, but then my condition turned for the worse for the rest of the year (symptoms not related to running). I had my surgery last Oct and as a habitual non-runner, I have a very limited window to build up my running habit before my motivation deteriorates. I want to grasp this feeling and run with it (see what I did there), but I’m a little anxious about just following a typical 5k training plan. I’ve been consulting with my PT, but am hoping for some lived experience. Has anyone gone from Endo to 5k or surgery to 5k and how did that work for you? Any tips?
