Part of me wonders if I have fibromyalgia... my dad has it really bad and he and I share the same narcissistic abuser. I'm tired every day, wake up sore, and have had back, shoulder, and neck pain for years. I have sensitive eyes and sometimes my skin randomly hurts to the touch, and since something kinda traumatic happened with my abuser this summer it's just been getting worse. I also have crazy temperature fluctuations ever day including sweaty hot flashes and shivery cold spells. I just don't have the consistent tender points, which makes me doubt. Is this my Health OCD twisting my mind or do these symptoms seem worthy of investigation?

Sounds exactly like fibromyalgia. I "hear" I do NOT know for sure, but I think some doctors are not relying so much on the trigger points anymore. Definitely worth a doctor visit.
I would definitely look into it and push for a diagnosis. I have had fibromyalgia since I was 15 and all the things you're describing sound like symptoms. I'm no doctor but I think you should get it checked.
