Could you have got another hiv more resistant from unsafe sex? No judgment here. Just a question.

I’ve been taking the same treatment for 9 years since my diagnosis. Just recently, I have experience a year long BLIP (A temporary, detectable increase in the amount of HIV in the blood (viral load) that occurs after antiretroviral therapy (ART) has effectively suppressed the virus to an undetectable level) which made me question the same thing, “if treatment would stop working” Turned out I was drinking a vitamin water too close to the timeframe that I would take my pill. So I had change the time I would drive that beverage. Other than that, the blips finally stopped and my viral load is where it’s supposed to be.

I believe it’s possible. Still, in that case, there are other drugs and combinations to take to become undetected again.
