Hi, I'm new to the group here, I'm 52 and a year ago next month I lost my right side and under my arm to breast cancer, I finished 8 weeks of chemo and my hair is starting to grow back, I had a friend from out of town send me a picture of myself said he missed me and remembered how beautiful I was,he knows that I've had breast cancer and I told him I don't look like that anymore, it's stuck with me and made me really sad and I wonder if I'll ever look like "me" again. I know vanity is a sin and I'm thankful to be alive and I never thought I was that that great but I was ok. my hair was sandy blonde-brown and now it's coming in all gray and I've never had my hair this short it's coming in like a mohawk long on top and short on the sides...lol
