Air Purifier for Contact Dermatitis?

Does an air purifier help at all with contact dermatitis? I’m allergic to something in my fiancé’s parent’s house, we haven’t been able to pinpoint exactly what it is because my patch tests came back inconclusive. My fiancé and I are moving into our own place, but all of his stuff he’s bringing has been sitting at his parent’s house. I’m making him wash/clean literally all of his belongings, but I want to know if there’s something else I could be doing that isn’t drug related. I won’t have health care for a bit, so I’m open to any non-prescription related advice :)
