    one of the most helpful skills for me in the moment is the 54321 thing, where you name 5 things you can see, 4 things you hear, 3 things you can touch, 2 things you smell, and 1 thing you taste. sometimes sound and touch are switched but it's more helpful for me this way round

    Finding a way to drown out sound has always helped me. Going to a room and putting my headphones in and just breathing as slow as I can and trying to calm down.
