Meds are ineffective in treating BPD. No doctor has a list of meds they prescribe strictly for BPD. They try mood stabilizers normally doesn’t work, then they go to antipsychotics, then they go to ssri’s along the way they normally find one that improves quality of life for the person, but are never asymptomatic or ‘cured’. That is why CBT was created. And tailored specifically for BPD. MB i DM it to u by accident.

Hey! I agree with Faybelle. I got a genetic test done as well to find what drugs would work best for me. I found out the antidepressant I was already on was one that my genetics said I'd work best with and I agree with it, it helps me immensely. Along with my Lamictal, I'm mostly stabilized.
