I feel the same and I haven’t worked in a long time. I’m going to try out a part-time cleaning job because it seemed like the easiest option. With going into the work force again, I thought part-time would be a good start so I don’t have to commit a lot of hours. I wanted to try to find work from home chat agent/chat support jobs or ticket support jobs since it wouldn’t be on phone but I don’t have a place or internet right now to do that, so maybe you can try it out if you can. Another option is factory work because it’s only with coworkers but I didn’t have a good time there personally. It was too monotonous, especially 8 hour shifts. You could also try 3rd shift/night shift/graveyard shift doing stocking since there won’t really be people around (I think?). You could find farm jobs like horse assistant for example. I know most of these were not stay at home jobs, but I hope this still helps you and anyone else reading this. You deserve to feel at peace and I hope you find something good! ☺️

I actually got a job working in customer service to help with my social anxiety. I had been home for a over a year at that point due to the pandemic and was getting out only twice week for church which was with same people I'd known for years. I was in comfort zone that I'd created for myself and because my schedule became stagnant, my anxiety got worse. My boss is pretty amazing. She can tell when I need a break and will have me work the shelves and put things back as well as stocking so I can take a break from customers. Otherwise, the more I work with customers, the less I feel anxious. It does on one hand drain my social battery and leave me with a headache from overstimulation some days, but I think the overall effect of my anxiety going down is worth it. This may not be the same for you, as you have to find what you're best able to do. Some do customer service like myself or there's people who work with animals. I know a few who test video games for a job. So it depends on what you want to do. You know your limits and what you want. Just be sure to take care of yourself. Good Luck!

Pizza delivery driving has been just the right amount of challenge for me, because 75% of my job is in my car! ❤️

Try working at a pharmacy. I had the same problem, and applied as a cashier at Rite Aid. Most of my costumers were elderly and very understanding/friendly despite my very obvious anxiety and shyness. At the end of the day, where ever you go, you’ll have gained experience that will help you overcome :)

i work as a kennel technician at a pet hotel/boarding place, and i've find it immensely easier for me and my social anxiety than other jobs i've had because I work alone or with only a couple other individuals at most. I deal mostly with dogs/cats, whom i find much more tolerable than people lol
