I *personally* haven't had that experience but I know it's a very common occurrence with Zoloft. What I DID have a problem was though was sleeping. On 25 I couldn't sleep until like 7am but when I uped to 50 it fixed it.
I’m on 125 now but when I first got put on 100 it gave me so much trouble sleeping and I felt restless. But now at 125 I feel ridiculously tired at the middle of the day
What I noticed personally was not so much a lack of emotion, but that I was so used to my large emotions, that I didn't realize I was having a "normal" emotion. It helped for me to take a step back and realize that.
definitely feels very dulled down for me although at the beginning my emotions were more intense bc i suddenly had the energy for that. now i'm definitely more prone to zoning out (reminds me of when my adhd was unmedicated) and getting stuck in my thoughts. *however*, my intrusive thoughts & ocd-like traits have gone way down and aren't actively interfering with my life anymore so i still find it useful. it's definitely a decent enough anxiety medication for me at least, even if it affects my depressive symptoms differently. basically i'm finding it more tolerable to live with being a little zombie-like than to have a fuller range of emotion but constantly being bombarded with thought patterns that make those emotions almost exclusively negative. i don't want to do this forever but until i'm out of school and settled into a routine the stability has benefits that outweigh the costs for me. then i'll most likely try a different dose, different medications, targeting the ocd-like traits with ERP therapy, etc. but i currently can't spare the time/effort/money so i'm satisfied with the quality of life i have now because it allows me to work towards a better life in the long run.
I had an issue like that when I use to take it. Talk to your doctor about that symptom if its super bothersome. They put me on another medication to help counteract that which worked fairly well for me.
I take it at night and do better. It makes me sleepy if anything than by morning I'm good. It takes awhile to adjust to any depression meds of course if it keeps on talk about switching 💕

Does sertraline (zoloft) make anyone else feel like a zombie? It’s like I can’t feel any kind of emotion.
