I’m in the process of being diagnosed, it’s take. So long and my few doctors are convinced i have Fibro but I’m waiting to see a rheumatologist. All of my pains and labs point towards it. Wondering if any of you had positive ANA test and very high CRP and high SED rate as well?

No, I do not know what ANA, Carp, or SEd rate is. I do not know if there are any test to diagnose anything.

I know that C Reactive Protein shows inflammation. Mine is high that is why I will start seeing a rheumatologist as soon as my insurance situation is fixed. There isn’t a straight test. More of a process of elimination

Yea, I had all these three pretty high, but I suffer from lupus as well, so I guess that’s why…

Lolita, maybe you can help me… all my Lupus ANA have come back negative but my positive ANA was under the Liver autoimmune panel…. But all liver labs came back normal…. Does that still sound lupus related because I have a lot of lupus symptoms just no ANA under Lupus.

Hey Lolli! Unfortunately I have all of those lab tests positive but I have comorbidities with other inflammatory diseases like ulcerative colitis. Regarding the positive ANA test it does not always indicate a systemic autoimmune disease such as lupus. It may be due to a number of conditions, including Hashimoto's thyroiditis like I have. You should ask your doctor for a comprehensive checkup for all kinds of autoimmune diseases.

I was tested positive to ANA when I found out about my fibromyalgia. Though I don't have any autoimmune disease. I know that positive ANA can sometimes even be in healthy Individuals. Regarding the inflammation markers - in my case they are not elevated. Hope this helps, good luck!
