So I've been taking Latuda for a little bit to treat my bipolar disorder and I had a few questions for anyone else who might be on the same medication. • How long was it before if started kicking in and actually affecting you? (in good or bad ways) • For anyone with comorbidities, did you find that symptoms of those disorders made themselves more prominent after the meds started kicking in? • Has it made you tired or restless at all? That's it for now, I look forward to everyone's answers, and if you haven't had the same experiences I'd love for people to just share their experiences so I know what to expect!

I've been on latuda for about a month, it has helped my depression alot. It took about 2 to 3 weeks for me to see a change. I'm bipolar and have PTSD and anxiety.

Just a side note: I take it along with Lithium and Lamictal which so far is a great combo for me. I started taking the Latuda first though, and while it worked very well, I still get short depressive/mixed episodes every now and then that can get pretty bad. I haven’t had a full blown manic episode since I started taking it though. I take the other stuff to supplement it. Thought it was worth mentioning.

I’ve also been on latuda for about a year and yeah the grapefruit thing sucks lol. It took me about a month before it benefitted me and I love it so much! I had no side effects and it has significantly reduced my episodes in both severity and length. I would say give it time to work and if it’s not for you that’s alright, there’s definitely something out there that is! I also take it at bedtime btw.

I like latuda okay, I feel like I am fully treated finally. It does knock me out and there has been some weight gain. I have psychotic features as well and have been episode free since 2018. I have been on latuda for almost a year. My perception of the drug is positive my sensitivity to alcohol is extreme now and I miss grapefruit lol

I take Latuda with lamictal and they knock me out within thirty minutes so I definitely take them at bedtime. I’ve been on both for about three months now. No side effects from Latuda and the suicidal thoughts have diminished quite a bit. I have bipolar with psychotic features and the mean voices have gotten much quieter.
