Can anyone else not work because of their difficulties? I've tried to work and all 3 times the people have said that they can see I'm struggling and said I should leave. I'm in the UK so I'm on benefits to help survive. I can't leave the house on my own because of really bad anxiety and even when I'm with people I can't be out for too long without having a panic attack but when I'm having a okay mental health day I feel guilty for not working š I've had friends talk badly about me because of it which makes it worse. anyone else have this issue?

I can't work because of mine. There are people that think I can but they don't live inside my body or my mind. I take 3 different meds just for anxiety, 2 different ones for sleep and 1 for night terrors, max dose of my anti depressant. I've tried 3 different specialists just for my back issue. But yet people think I can work no problem. So I know how you feel and I'm sorry you are going through that. Feel free to message me if you want to vent.

I'm in the US so I'm not sure how different it is but maybe you can try gig work? That way when you're having a good mental health day you can work and you don't have to worry about having a boss or set hours to work. (Gig work is like Amazon Flex, Uber Eats, Taskrabbit, etc.) Also your friends sound like they suck! They don't sound sympathetic to your situation. I would drop people like that out of my life. It's one thing not to understand because you haven't had my exact experience but it's another to talk negatively about it and you haven't been in my shoes. I hope you get better friends.

@Harli I'm so sorry that you're going through all of that :( I hope the medication is helping you! People just don't understand and don't want to learn. Thank you so much! You too can message if you need to vent at all! š¤
