idk about you but what i do is use the most comfortable and discreet pad possible so i dont have to deal with the feeling of it there too much. i dont really get cramps tho, so i dont know if i can address that. tampons or menstrual cups might be an option too if it makes you fell less dysphoric. unfortunately i cannot physically use those... if you really want to, i hear some forms of birth control can stop periods. sometimes taking testosterone can stop periods too. when i took hrt i had no periods.
The diva cup has been sooooooo helpful for me. It's real discreet, even very heavy days I only need to empty it 3 times in 24 hours. So if you work or go to school you won't really have to worry about it until you're home. You don't have to carry or buy tampons or pads. It also don't have cramps anymore.
Also when other people ask if you have paid or tampon on you you get to say "oh, I don't use those." And not gonna lie, it feels good to confuse people a little. š
