how do I hide facial tics in public? those are my most common ones, and in my school we don't wear masks anymore. I don't want to be known as the tic kid.

i’ve learned to just let them happen tbh. i used to get super embarrassed if i winked at the professor or jerked my head in the middle of class, but everyone is generally understanding. people care a lot less than you might think.
I agree with ghoulpod, I was the tic kid in school, but there are always good people who see past it and in my situation they ended up being great friends. Your facial tics are not something that need to be hidden but it takes a long time to see that for yourself, hopefully you find someone to talk to process your feelings over your tics. My therapist help A LOT. Good luck and don’t forget that you will always have people on here who get you and won’t judge you💕
Unfortunately suppressing tics will usually just lead to tic attacks. I know it's difficult but your best bet is to try and find things that calm them for you (music, fidget toys, etc.) and realize that what others think doesn't matter at all in the long run.
