i was put on a cocktail of psychiatric medications (antipsychotics, antidepressants etc) and it has really affected me. i stopped taking them a year ago due to significant weight gain from the antipsychotics but i’ve noticed that the meds have really messed up with my menstrual cycle. i rarely get periods anymore, i’ve been tested to see if i have hypothyroidism, insulin resistance, diabetes but they all come back negative! it’s really stressful because it’s painful and uncomfortable as the symptoms have interfered with my digestive system, energy levels, weight loss journey and self confidence. it’s so frustrating because i have all these symptoms that randomly started appearing and it impacts my mental state, i’m trying to lose weight but my body never seems to allow it? it’s such a difficult process
