Biggest game changer in my Crohn’s journey. I got an ileostomy after my colon ruptured 4 years ago and since then it’s been like I don’t have Crohn’s. No more medication, I gained 40lbs (I was very under weight) and have had more energy then I understood I could. I know it’s not the solution for everyone and it has its downsides for sure but it has improved my quality of life dramatically.

Im thinking of getting a bag too
Do you mean a colostomy bad or and ileostomy bag? A colostomy is when your colon is attached to the abdominal wall and and ileostomy is when the end of your small intestine is attached to the abdominal wall. Which one you get depends on where your Crohn’s affects your digestive tract. I have neither but almost had to have a colostomy, so I’m not sure I’m the right person to ask, but I hope that these options and a small explanation help a little bit with your question☺️
