I have depression and all and it's been a struggle because my mom doesn't understand what it's like having depression or having a mental disability I can't express to her how I struggle every day and it's been very aggravating.

I feel for you here, my mum was exactly the same - I used to be told 'well we all have bad days' etc. which helps nobody. It was only when I invited her to the doctors with me that they put her on the straight and narrow, and made it clear that this was an illness and not just a 'phase'. Perhaps try asking what her perception is of mental illness and depression and see if you can't help her to understand better? Oh, and one other thing, you're doing great, keep going - you got this!
