Hi All! I am a 24 year old with Septo Optic Dysplasia, Hypothyroidism, Surgically Treated Cleft lip and palate and Automatic closure of Atrial Septal Defect. I take 2 medications every day and an injection every week. The medications, for me at least, are for life. Often than not, I feel like I don’t want to take medication’s anymore and just get rid of the yellow bottles. But then a minute later I am brought back to reality and I am like, I need them to function. Does anyone else feel like that?

I can absolutely relate to you. I stopped taking my medicine a lot I don't know why it's because I don't want to follow the rules maybe of what society tells me the Bottle tells me or just myself. Then I get depressed or sad then like yourself I realize there are some things I have to take for the rest of my life because I do have thyroid disease I have migraines and I try to manage my depression as best I can.

@Innocence Thank you so much for sharing. I can’t tell how great it feels to know that someone else is going through this as well. I mean don’t get me wrong this sucks but I can finally relate to someone
