I want to forget about the day that I went over to my "friend's" place. I want to forget the feeling of his hands on my body... I want to forget him pulling me onto his lap and his hand going up my shirt while his other hand was around my waist... I wanted to scream, kick, hit, and wriggle away from him, but I couldn't. I just froze, not knowing what to do. I couldn't do anything because I was so scared... I felt so useless... My mom keeps telling me to "forget about it" but I can't. The nightmares and flashbacks feel so real, and I absolutely hate every single bit of it... I don't know what to do anymore.

I was in a similar situation several years ago. I highly suggest seeking out a qualified therapist in your area to help you process that horrible event so you can be in a better place. All those people who are telling you to forget about it are saying that out of ignorance. You have experienced very severe abuse and trauma, which never goes away. Don't listen to them and get the help you need. You are more than what that guy did to you. You got this!

I can understand. It doesn't help that my ex's dad whom I live with yesterday was flipping out after getting drunk and told me I was raped by the guy I was but slept with him. I definitely did not.

I agree with musicalmicha. Finding a therapist can really help you manage these feelings, thoughts, and flashbacks. They can be really hard to deal with and until you're able to process what happened that, things can get harder. People don't know what they're talking about and are wrong to say that to you. That's not something you need to hear, especially while you're still processing the trauma. With help, things will get better. It's a long journey, but you survived something terrible. You are damn strong and can make it through this. You're a survivor. And you will rise.
