Omg, that happens to me all the time. The worst is when it tastes like rotten eggs. When I have flares like that I take pepto or tums & gas-x/gas-ban or bean-o. I used to take famotidine and omeprazole but I have been able to take just omeprazole recently. Sometime I think about what I want to eat & try to decide if it is worth what I know I'm going to go through after
