Type 1 Diabetic Starting Antidepressants/Anxiety Meds - Need Advice

@Sheek thank you for sharing, did you have any side effects? When you first start taking it did you worry about the side effects?

@kikki thank you for sharing I know they are not a cure. It was an option I'm given that I am willing to try. I just wanted to know how it affected people. So, thank you again for letting me know.

@kikki wow, I've been on different antidepressants to see what helped me. They never made me numb so I couldn't feel anything. Some people have a chemical imbalance and use these meds as a tool. Of course they aren't a cure, but they can definitely help people; especially when used with other helpful treatments, such as therapy.

@Smilove22 honestly at first I was so again starting meds for my anxiety and depression. But recently I've been having horrible panic attacks and my doctor and therapist both agree that I should start. My problem is is I'm having anxiety about starting new meds especially because side effects worry me. Did any of the side effects affect your diabetes? Or how you handle your diabetes? Did you even have any side effects? I'm sorry I know it's a lot of questions but other people that I have asked that are not type 1 diabetic it was 50/50 some had great experiences and it helped them and they've been on it for years some immediately got off of it because it made things worse for them at least that's what they said.
