      I already have osteopenia and they put me on LETROzole it gives me hot flashes and mouth sores..I don't like it

      Letrozole has given me osteopenia dispite taking calcium and vitamin d. It was found when I broke my ankle a few years back my oncologist now has me on prolia every six months for my bones

        @AmyM and does Prolia help you? How much vitamin d and calcium you was taking? I have osteoponia now and doctor has not told me anything yet. 😟 What can I do to prevent this 🤦🏻‍♀️

      I'm doing hormonal therapy for a year now. I had my radiations and then I started with Letrozole but I couldn't take it for long. I was literally dragging myself. I'm taking now Aromasin but it's not any better. I'm taking supplements like Vitamin C, Zinc, Magnesium and every 2 weeks I need B12 shots. No one knows what it is to walk in these shoes of ours.       I been hearing so many people saying that hormonal therapy cause bone loss, osteoporosis, bone fracture and I’m so scared now because I will start soon letrozole and I already was diagnosed with Osteoponia 😟

        @Cristy2 I am having Zometa infusions every 6 months for osteopenia in the left hip. I finished chemo this past December.

      I’m not sure but my doctor said that taking calcium supplements is supposed to help for sure
