Smoking Weed While on Lamictal: Potential Risks and Interactions

Nobody’s going to stop you from smoking weed. But if you’re on any mood stabilizer weed and alcohol combined with it just increases the side effects of lamictal , makes it less effective, and makes you more high/ drunk. I suggest not smoking weed while on lamictal but again, I can’t stop you. But please consider it

pretty much any interaction (but not all) with mood stabilizers and SSRIs with stuff like alcohol or cannabis is just going to increase the effect of the alcohol/cannabis. Pretty much just makes you a lightweight. Like I said this is the case with most, but not all, medications of these types but with this specific mix you'll be fine to experiment and see how it effects you personally.
