I'm having a lot of signs that may relate to having anemia or a vitamin d deficiency. I did schedule an appointment to have them checked along with my thyroid as well. My appointment it almost a month away, does any one have any recommendations or advice on how I could maybe check them myself to see if I can figure anything out while I wait?

Thank you so much for this! I have no idea what my levels are yet but the app said 9 going by my nails, idk how accurate it is though. Honestly I've had that in my mouth but I just assumed it because I had brushed my teeth to hard or spending etc and blew it off. This is starting to make me even more curious about my symptoms lol, I really appreciate the sight you're sharing with me

The mouth rash you can't feel with your tongue either. If you eat an orange slice and it feels like salt in a paper cut, except all over your entire mouth, cheaks, tongue, roof, punching bag thing under your tongue.... That's the low iron rash

Thank you for the insight. I do get spells for what I call, it feels like I can't take a deep breath with pressure in my chest, but they're short lived and once it passes I'll go back to being fine again. I do have a a couple small sores on the inside of my bottom lip but not really a rash, they're not big enough to be anything like canker sore. Thanks for the info and I'll check out the app. Do you have an more advice about levels, of what's considered low or concerning?

Well for severe anemia.... You'll get super winded from the smallest activity, like walking half a block, crave ice, popsicles, or slushies and you'll actually get a rash inside your mouth, you can't really see it but toothpaste, oranges, spaghetti sauce will hurt to eat. Also there's an app called AnemoCheck that can get within a close range of y your iron level with a pic of your unpainted finger nails. I've tried it twice before going to see my rheumatologist to check my levels and it was within a couple points
