Try to stick to carbs being under 10g and protein being over 10g. Not for the whole day, but for a meal. I noticed my blood sugars have gotten better since doing that! My a1c went from a 9 to a 6.5 in about 6 months and I was able to get off of Glipizide. You've got this!!

The secret to mine was weight loss. Its so hard to do but it truly helps a lot of issues. Veggies as much as you can but make sure your getting protein. Its hard on a budget or food bank reliance like I see mentioned above. Minimize startch, sugar, oils. stuff like that. If you can get maybe an olive oil instead of vegetable when you cook. That can help a little.
Thank you ❤️ I am not not financially stable to get the proper foods yet. I have to rely on food banks. But I am careful and I do have some good veggies in the freezer.
I am at 40. Trying to work myself down more
I managed to do so, I am just taking ozempic which maintains my A1C. I changed my diet (omitted pork and beef) and ALL of my carbs are eaten by 630pm. I realized that it's the carbs that drive my sugars crazy so I just reduced the amount I eat. Plus the medical marijuana helps with my crazy pains and keep the weight off 💜💜💜 I hope you find something!
@Wetmokakisses 6:30 p.m. huh okay that is definitely something that I can consider I'm trying to get back to work I was off due to medical reasons for 2 months was only supposed to be 2 weeks but I got attacked by a dog while I was healing from the first medical thing
@Wetmokakisses medical Juana is so good! My husband who is schizoaffective takes or rather smokes medical and it helps him so much I totally believe in it I just wished I weren't allergic LOL
@Wetmokakisses how many carbs are you doing a day? My dr recommend 45 a day but said no lower then 15 because carbs are the one thing that can pass the blood brain barrier and feed our brains. Just be safe.
For type 2 diabetes have your a1c checked to see what range its in and talk to your dr if its in the range you can be with out meds if not also you may want to get your iron, vitamin D, b12 checked along with the other stuff just to see if you need to modify your diet to include more things to help in that department and pick one thing to start first so your body's not over whelmed if your are already diet and exercising then consider building muscle as it helps with maintaining blood sugar levels more. If you do have love vitamin D there is a app to help you and you can put in your location and info about you to tell you how much sun you need and how long of exposure is safe before burning and forearms are the best place that absorb it.
