When someone is in a bad mood can you tell without them speaking or communicating . For instance my boyfriend will be quiet when he’s mad and it gives me anxiety. Idk if this is BPD or not. But I hate it. I also give the silent treatment too though.

I can tell by someone’s in a bad mood mostly by body language. Like if they are facing away from me. Through text it’s more of a distance thing like slow replies with a combination of one word answers. It’s kind of sad to see the person upset but it helps to show understanding so it can help them 💕

Most of the time when I’m in a bad mood with BPD or splitting I will go silent. My whole mood completely changes and my boyfriend will still ask me if I’m okay, but he knows what is going on. I’m so lucky to have someone that understands and comforts me when I’m going through a split. I think that you should ask your boyfriend about it. The best thing you can do is to have open and honest communication no matter how hard it may seem. It’s taken 10 months for me to improve but I’m finally making good progress. It makes me happy and my boyfriend proud. :)
