Starting Lexapro after years without medication

Lexapro has worked really great for me thus far. This is my first medication and I went from major depression to slight / minimal depression on my scores. It worked very well for me but with all medications it is important to have so someone who knows you to watch your changes and experience so you can better navigate what prescription is best for you.

I use Lexapro currently, and although it's not for everyone, there's no shame in needing to change medication. If it doesn't work for you after a month or so, you can totally just talk to your doc and ask them for other options! I used to be so scared of that but I promise you they will help you find what's good for you if they are a good doctor
