Hey all, Not sure where you all are on your healing journey but would like to share symptoms and techniques we've all done to help with the pain.

Hey, i have had bad anxiety since I was 10 years old. But just got it officially diagnosed last year. I'm still healing but I also have other diagnosis that doesn't help. I use coping skills and meds to help me. And I am still fighting disability which is a struggle itself. But im in the starting of my healing of it because of my other diagnosis'

Honestly, I think the thing that's helped me the most was getting approved for disability. I function so much better now that I don't have to worry about working. My finances suck, but I'm able to function at home.

Hi! I realized I had anxiety when I started college. When I get an anxiety attack I often get physically ill and have difficulty breathing and my heart races, often getting dizzy and spaced out. I have been doing what my therapist suggested which is getting a white board and writing a couple things to center myself and get me out of that heads pace which helps me a bit when I feel it coming on. If I have a particularly overwhelming day or week I try to calm myself by doing crafts like crocheting, sculpting, or sewing which is a really nice distraction!

I have been dealing with anxiety for more than five years. During my attacks, I suffer from shortness of breath, sweating, chest pain, and sometimes I also feel that I am going crazy. I learned to calm myself by practicing breathing and meditation. I also take SSRIs which reduce my attacks.
