Eating home made meals instead of going out all the time to try and force myself out of my bed and off of the couch. I donโt want to feel depressed anymore and I wanted to start with how I eat.

I've started taking a very small dose of edibles at night to lessen my pain. I'm able to go on a walk up and down my street with my crutches every day and have the pain at a manageable level. It's great exercise for me which stabilizes my joints and keeps them from getting stiff.
326d
Journaling more, smoking less weed
@spiider can i ask if youโre anxious how weed has negatively affected u? i smoke but have found that it helps but iโm trying not to become dependent on it

Finally relearning math fundamentals so I can move forward at uni. Math Academy (online), is exceptional. Continuing to learn how to dye yarn. I knit my niece and nephew each a blanket, first with MadTosh yarn, then they discontinued the weight of yarn I was using, which is really hard one to find, so I decided to learn to dye my own. Comparative price? ~$210 to ~$65 If I didnโt brag about dyeing the yarn for the second I donโt think anyone would have noticedโฆ

I started a job with a very healthy and friendly atmosphere where I have to be on my feet and active. I actually enjoy going to work every day instead of dreading it and that makes a huge difference for me.
Eating healthy, walking more, take more care of myself, try and save my marriage as I feel the spark has gone (my fault depression health issues etc)

Working out again
Eating better
experimenting with holistic medicine ๐ฑ
Spending more time walking along the water ways by us. Feeding the ducks, swans, geese etc... Take a picnic. Can't wait for the weather to warm up, so we can paddle too.
Actually reaching out for help for the first time in my life. I let my mom come to my apartment to help me clean/organize. Up until this year I had said I would rather die than let her see my home in such disarray. Itโs still uncomfortable for me but Iโm learning to accept that I deserve help like anyone else.
423d
My fiance and I have started taking our dog to the park, taking longer walks with her, and have even started skating ๐
Being in the world without doing anything....just standing still and looking, listening and breathing. What's not to like it's free and easy and makes me feel peaceful. I spend so much time rushing to do things that just being is a great way to feel calm and grounded

I'm improving my mental health by practicing Duolingo and keeping up a streak- it helps create a routine, stimulate my brain, and maintains my Spanish speaking skill! I'm also planning to learn to do yoga, and I'm preparing for that by stretching every morning, as well as before every workout to ensure I do not injure myself.

As soon as my asthma is under control I'm going to aim to workout 30 minutes a day.
There are a few things. Exercise for sure. I plan on joining a gym next month. I miss running so I want to get back into it and also strength training. I also want to shed 30 lbs while I'm at it. I plan on paying off my credit cards. That'll free up some of my money so I can save more or spend it on hobbies etc. I plan on getting at least one house plant. And fixing up the place I'm staying in. But most importantly, I plan on forcing my abusive roommate to leave.

I am journaling to help me see my progress each day. I sometimes feel like I never get anything done so this helps me see that I am accomplishing something. Iโm using an app called Zinnia on my iPad because itโs easy to use and lets me add photos and use my Apple Pencil.

@BraeburnGirl journaling is a great idea! I'm do glad it's working for you. It's really difficult to see progress when looking at yourself so journaling is a wonderful way to capture every milestone!
