Living with Anxiety: The Struggle to Keep Up Appearances

Believe me I try to pamper myself but it never works out. I'm there for everyone else but no one is here for me. There was a point in time where I felt nothing at all and now, I feel everything and that's something I can't handle. I'm better off feeling nothing. Every time I feel, it gets ripped away from me.

Getting this far because of you is an accomplishment, AND you still give love to others despite not getting it in return, which is a testament to the type of person you are. You are strong, resilient, caring, sincere, loving, determined, and important. You make the world a better place. I’m sorry you don’t get love in return and so many things have been taken from you. That’s not fair and really shitty. Do what you need to do to show yourself love. Sometimes, for me, that’s hiding under my favorite fluffy blanket away from everyone or going to a store for a small treat for me. Other times it’s a long shower or a petting a fluffy animal (dog, cow, goat, bunny, lol)
