This is more C-PTSD related. I have intense extremely lucid nightmares that tend to be graphic and or generally traumatic to the point that they get mixed up with actual memories. Is there anything (besides Prazosin) that I can use to help with this?

Try finding serotonin pills? I've been dealing with night terrors that are so vivid I remember some from when I was super young. Tried serotonin pills, or 5- HTP as they are sometimes called, and it either makes me not dream at all, or I have pleasant dreams that I don't really remember when I wake up. It was a huge relief to take that pill and wake up not having any nightmares

I’m not sure if you’re in therapy or if you’re interested in that as a form of treatment, but exposure therapy has been very helpful for me. That way, you deal with these situations in a controlled, safe environment and find ways to deal with those emotions and fears. Then, if you do have these dreams, they’ll hopefully be less distressing. They might stop completely, since you’ve been able to address these feelings. No guarantees of course and this has just been my experience.

@gayforlucifer It could be helpful to do a quick mantra type thing before bed where you remind yourself you’re not in that situation anymore, you have all of the power and control now, and that you are not powerless.

I try lots of stuff, eating before bed always makes my dreams worse so I try not to eat 1hr before bed. Weed also seems to help.
