Struggling to Make Friends in a New State

If there is any kind of group or even church that you might be interested, try and join! There are also online chatrooms and such, even groups on Facebook with people who also struggle with these issues

Do you see a therapist? Sometimes they can suggest a group you can join to interact with like minded people. When I'm bored, I find chatrooms to engage in conversation, just guard your identity in those, don't give out personal info etc. Maybe have your fiance introduce you to their friends and/ or family members etc?
